Teodoro Ted Ramirez - Arizona Folksinger

Born in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday February 15, 1953.

Ted's early exposure to Mexican and American folk music served

as inspiration and provided a strong foundation for his own music. 

Ted is primarily a folksinger,  who has written many beautiful songs:

“My Beloved Tucson”, “Viva Tucson”, “Billy Stiles”, “Look To Baboquivari”

El Presidio” and “ Northern Star” are a few examples.

He is Tucson's Official Troubadour

as proclaimed by the Tucson Mayor and City Council in 2001.

He is the Artist-In-Residence at the

Tubac Presidio Park and Museum in Tubac, Arizona

Where he hosts his annual

Artist-In-Residence Concert Series

The series typically runs from December to April.

The concerts are held indoors in a

1880's one-room school house venue

located at the

Tubac Presidio Park facility.
