Teodoro Ted Ramirez - Arizona Folksinger

Born in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday February 15, 1953.

Ted's exposure to Mexican and American folk music served as inspiration and provided the foundation for his own music. 

Ted is a folksinger,and has written many beautiful songs: “My Beloved Tucson”, “Viva Tucson”, “Billy Stiles”, “Look To Baboquivari” El Presidio” and “ Northern Star” are a few examples.

He is Tucson's Official Troubadour as proclaimed by the Tucson Mayor and City Council in 2001. He is the Artist-In-Residence at the Tubac Presidio Park and Museum in Tubac, Arizona - where he hosts an annual Artist-In-Residence Concert Series 

The series typically runs from October through to April. The concerts are held indoors in a 1880's one-room school house located at the Tubac Presidio Park facility.
